HostsShield is a simple program that blocks many malicious sites, advertising and tracking servers by using the Windows Hosts file.Once HostsShield is enabled, it will replaces the standard (empty) Windows Hosts file with a custom list of servers that will be blocked. You can review the list of sites by clicking on the provided button.When you disable protection, the program will restore the original Hosts file, leaving all servers accessible.HostsShield can automatically update the blocklist with new servers as they are added.
