Link Shell Extension is a free application which enables Windows users to make use of hard links or symbolic links, something UNIX users have been performing for eons. To develop a brand new hard link, all you have to do is right-click a file or folder and choose to pick the link source. Afterwards you just navigate to the location where you would like to place the file and from the context menu, select to drop the selected item. A file may be added as a hardlink or as symbolic one, while a folder can also be dropped as a Junction (soft link), Smart Copy, Smart Mirror, DeLorean copy, Hardlink clone and Symbolic Link Clone. You are able to do this to both single and multiple files selected a the same time. The program also provides you with drag and drop support. In this way, you can move and create links in one simple motion, saving time. HardLink ShellExtension shows an invaluable tool for you in case you are required to create these links without adding them using the command prompt as it's usually done. To help it become easier for you to pick out the folders that have hardlinks from normal files, the program displays a red icon which is often replaced with a custom one at any given time. This also applies to junctions and symbolic links. To revoke the development of a new hardlink, all you have to do is re-open the Windows context menu and choose to cancel the link development.

Download and install Hardlink Shell Extension safely and without concerns.
