is software which enables you to make photo mosaic graphics from your own computer. A photo mosaic image is composed of miniature photos which are fitted together in such a way that, from a distance, they blend together to create the look of a new image.
To create a photo mosaic image, you can use digital photographs from your collection, for example from your last holiday or family get-together. Foto-Mosaik-Edda
analyses the photographs and then adds them to one or more databases from which they are drawn to create your photo mosaic.
assistant guides you through the process, making the creation of your photo mosaic picture child's play. Friends and family will be astounded by this amazing effect.
can create other mosaic pictures, in addition to the Classic Mosaic Picture, where the tiles with the same proportions are ordered next to and under each other.
Parquet Mosaic Picture: Here the tiles are ordered like a parquet floor. Photos with portrait and landscape format are used together. During the creating of the parquet mosaic image, different patterns can be chosen.
Chaos Mosaic Picture: An entirely new type of mosaic image. Here the tiles are placed over and under each other in random sizes and rotations to form a collage. The mosaic image creates the impression that someone strewed a huge stack of photographs around the floor. The original format of the database tiles will be retained.
The Classic Mosaic type is the the simplest photo mosaic variation. Here, the tiles are ordered next to and above one another, and all the tiles have the same format. One of the following formats can be selected:
Landscape format (4:3, 3:2, 16:9)
Portrait format (3:4, 2:3, 9:16)
The number of tiles in the photo mosaic picture can be selected together with the individual tile size. The more tiles the photo mosaic images has, and the smaller the tiles are, the better the photos 'melt' together to form the final image.
Before the creation of the photo mosaic picture, Foto-Mosaik-Edda
reveals how big the tiles are going to be in the printout. This means minimal trial- and- error testing is essential to discover the optimal solution.
The Parquet Styple is like the pattern of a parquet floor, and it allows tiles with landscape and portrait format to be used together. This way, your photos with both formats can appear together in the photo mosaic without any photos having to be cropped.
With the use of a border and transparent cast shadow, which will be automatically drawn around the photo mosaic tiles, the appearance of a spread out collection of photos becomes much stronger.
