Backup data automatically to any USB/Firewire device, local or network location
FBackup review by Team on 23.12.2014
FBackup is a free backup and restore program that allows its users to create timely backups of important data saved on their PC. With FBackup you can configure and run backup copies at any given time. The software allows you to create as many backup jobs as you need, each of them with their very own configuration settings, and you can also restore them whenever you need to have your data back. In order to make a new backup, you need to choose a name and a path for the files. Then, you need to select folders and the files you want to make a backup of, together with set up filters. If you want, you can have the program clear up all the temporary files before creating the backup. Additional filters can be defined from the "Properties" frame. FBackup lets you create a complete copy or only create a mirror for your files. Furthermore, you add a password and can encrypt the data. This means that only you restore your backups. The software additionally lets you define how frequently the backup is refreshed. You can do it daily, weekly, monthly, or only do it manually. If the case applies, you can also choose the day and hour. After all the settings are made, you only have to press the Backup button on the main interface. All jobs can be tested for errors. Restoring the files can be carried out to the original location or to any other directory of your choice. You can also define how this process works. When using "complete backup", the sources will be archived using standard zip compression. FBackup uses ZIP64 compression, meaning that it can create zip files over 2GB in size. Also, you can password protect your backup zip files. If you don't want to have the files saved in one zip file, FBackup can make exact copies of the backup sources using "mirror backup". Since FBackup will also back up empty folders, you can take advantage of this backup type to create in the destination a "mirror" copy of the original files. So it's not only a file backup software. For every backup job, you can define an action to run before or following the backup. For instance, you can choose "Clear backup" before the backup runs, so that all the previous backed up files will likely be cleared before loading the new ones. As an after- backup action, you can set it to stand by, log off, hibernate or even shut down the computer once the backup has successfully completed. By default, your backups will be saved on the local Windows partition. To be sure you have a secure backup, we highly recommend you to save the backups on other destinations supported by FBackup (like an external USB/Firewire drive, or on a mapped network drive). This way, if your computer suffers a hardware failure, you will have your data safe on an external place. FBackup is a free tool can be used for commercial and personal functions to back up important data. It is trustworthy, it is easy to use, and as already mentioned, it is free.

Download and install FBackup safely and without concerns.
