CryptoExpert review by publisher InterCrypto Ltd:

What is CryptoExpert software from InterCrypto Ltd, what is it used for and how to use it?

CryptoExpert creates new virtual hard drives that appears to applications like any other real hard drive.

CryptoExpert uses a realtime on-the-fly encryption method to encrypt and decrypt information. Your files are saved within the form on virtual hard-drive with password authentication, however when it's requested by any program, it gets decrypted on - the - fly. Conversely, unencrypted information to be saved is encrypted instantaneously and saved. The CryptoExpert system mounts a volume file to produce a "virtual drive" that appears to applications and users like every other physical drive. Any information the user tries to write for this drive is intercepted by CryptoExpert, encrypted, and written for the volume file. Attempts to read from this volume will also be intercepted, along with the important information is read by CryptoExpert from the volume file, decrypted, and presented to the program attempting to read the information.
Dismounting the CryptoExpert "virtual drive" ensures that info can't be read from or written to it. All information is saved encrypted inside the "container". So far as windows is anxious, there's a 'new' disk which has unexpectedly appeared. Once the software exists or the volume is unmounted, the file system remains encrypted and there's certainly no way everyone can recover/get the information with no pass phrase. Total support for command-line. Support for USB Flash Drives to mount containers without passwords. Works on Vista 32 and 64-bit. XP 32 and 64-bit and on 2000 and 2003.
The most recent edition contains new attribute: Disk Firewall to safeguard your virtual drive contents from programs like trojajns, viruses and etc.
