Doogee F5 4G Phablet is a new smartphone or better called Phablet (a phablet is a class of a mobile device designed to combine the form of a smartphone and a tablet. The word phablet is a portmanteau of the words phone and tablet) from China manufacturer DOOGEE well known for offering products with an excellent ratio for money.

Size and design

New Doogee F5 is a well designed smart phone. It has thin edge of only 5 mm, which becomes wider towards the centre where it is 7.8 millimetres wide. The phone frame casing and back cover is made from so called “liquid metal”. What is great with liquid metal is that it looks and feels more like a glass than metal but it still has sturdiness of a metal.
With dimensions 152.3x76.9x7.8 mm it is simillar to iPhone 6 Plus. Phone weighs only 171 grams which is 1 gram less then iPhone 6 Plus.
Doogee F5 4G Phablet comes in three colors – light gray, deep gray and champagne.
On the back cover there is fingerprint sensor. If you lay your finger on it for 0.5 seconds you will unlock the phone without the need to turn on the phone display first and if you lay your finger for 1 second you will open recent apps screen. You can also lock some app with fingerprint so only you can use it.

Screen

Doogee F5 4G features 5.5 inch multi touch IPS screen with 1920 x 1800 Full HD resolution and a pixel density of 401 PPI. Screen supports 16000K colors. Screen covers as much as 82 percent of front surface.
Screen has 178 degrees wide viewing angle.

Software and user interface

Doogee F5 4G Phablet comes with latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Google Play Store which means that you will be able to download any app or game from Play Store. Phone enables you to make same customizations in user interface such as changing wallpaper, colors or icons. It supports live wallpapers too. 

Hardware

Doogee F5 comes with 3 GB of RAM memory, 16 GB of ROM memory and Micro SD slot which you can use to expand your storage with up to 64 GB of memory. The heart of the phone is MTK6753 64bit Octa Core 1.5 GHz processor and Mali T720 graphic card.

Battery

Doogee F5 features 3000 mAh Lithium battery for long hours of talk time or video and music reproduction. The battery can assure 5V2A fast charging which means that it will charge up to 70% capacity within mere 30 minutes and get full charged in about 2.5 hours.

Camera

For many users camera is one of the most important phone features. With Doogee F5 you will get very good front camera with 5.0 MP (OmniVision) and 13.0 MP back camera with Samsung 3M2 sensor, flashlight and auto focus.

Connectivity

F5 supports 2G, 3G and 4G network bands along with GSM+WCDMA+FDD-LTE network types. It also features Bluetooth 4.0, GPS chip and WiFi 802.11b/g/n wireless internet.

Other features

Doogee F5 is Dual standby SIM device which supports Micro SIM cards. In simple words when none of the SIM cards is used then both the SIM's are active but when you are using a particular SIM the other SIM becomes inactive.
