An easy way to browse faster is to disable images in web browsers.

For Internet Explorer, Navigate to Menu Bar: Tools>Internet options>Advanced. In 'Settings', in the 'multimedia' group, uncheck the 'Show pictures' box. This will prevent images from loading. To allow images later, tick the same box.

For Firefox browser, a wide variety of browser add-ons can be used, since Firefox does not have a user-friendly way of blocking pictures.
(Firefox does have a setting to block pictures but it is hidden deep within technical parts of Firefox and it would not be safe for the inexperienced user to tamper with those settings, thus, I will leave that method out of the forum.)

For Chrome browser, one can click the three bars on the top-right corner of the screen to reveal a drop-down menu, click Settings, scroll down to the 'Privacy' section and click the 'Content settings...' button, and click the 'Do not show any images' circular button.

For Opera browser, this setting can be accessed by clicking the button on the top-left of the screen, clicking 'Settings', clicking 'Websites' among the four options on the left, scrolling down to the 'Images' section, and clicking the 'Do not show any images' circular button.
Additional tip: Opera has an Opera Turbo feature, which being a data-saving proxy, compresses web pages to speed up web browsing and saves Internet data on slow Internet connections. This can be used by clicking the button on the top-left of the screen, and clicking 'Opera Turbo' once.
For me no way i like pictures to see on internetpages. What i do, i go to the addons in my internetbrowser and install popup and advertisingblocker and i look that in addons only run the nessesary backgroundaddons from Microsoft.
