Shutdown8 : Computer Shutdown Program with Timer


Shutdown8 is a simple program that allows users to shut down their computers with a timer.
Users can simply add this program onto the taskbar and select the Shut down, Log off, Restart, Timer, Sleep or Hibernate menu.

Nice, but not necessary, because it is built in into any Windows version, also in Windows 8 and 8.1. So, You simply need to make some shortcut icon on Your desktop or taskbar or where ever You want.
After all You can to do sheduled task or use some software, where it is also built in. For example WinUtilities, Advanced SystemCare 7 etc.
How to do shortcuts:
Do as you usually do them and use the following target(s):

Restart to Boot Options
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -r -o -f -t 00

C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -r -t 00

Slide to Shut down

Sign out
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -l -t 00

Full Shut down
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -s -t 00

Hybrid Shut down
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -s -f -hybrid -t 00

Shutdown Window
C:\Windows\System32\taskkill.exe /im explorer.exe

Abort shut down
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -a

C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -h

Select icon from:

If You replace the 00 (00 is the time in seconds before this function starts) with some other,
which is equal the time to start shutdown, then this function will be start after this time,
for example : shut down after hour

Full Shut down after 1 hour = 3600 seconds
C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -s -t 3600
